They held a press briefing and announced that 5G has gone live in several towers across Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet. By the end of next year, Robi aims to expand coverage to around 1,000 towers nationwide.Their strategy is simple—areas with more 5G smartphone users will get priority coverage. A major advantage is that Robi’s 4G and 5G data plans are the same.
